Have you ever been touched by a gift? By someone's act of kindness that changed your life? I have, I received a full academic scholarship for my BA at CSULB. The magnitude of that gift, changed my life. It was through a personal journey these last 18 months that I really felt the need to be a part of a larger picture. I had opened a new business that is near and dear to my heart and wanted to be able to find a way to give back what I had so abundantly received. I recently became a wish granter with Wish Upon A Wedding (So Cal because its my local chapter) an amazing organization that gives in such magnitude and heart. Needless to say, it helped fill that need.
I was referred to Lisa (Tso) Wang about donating a flower girl dress and ring bearer tux for her dream wedding that had been selected as a Wish to be Granted. This is our FG-2 dress which has since been renamed "Amelia" after the lovely Miss Amelia pictured in white with a light pink sash and flower. Aside from having the most adorable children, Doug and Lisa Wang have the type of love I believe we are all looking for. They have an incredible story and have faced tremendous odds which you can read about in further detail here on the WUW site and see their video. Their wedding was truly the stuff that fairy tales are made of.
